Surfdoggie's Review:
This stunning photograph from the library of the United States Geological Survey (USGS) shows the tree blow-down on Smith Creek, northeast of Mount St. Helens; note two people in lower right for scale. Mount St. Helens erupted on May 18, 1980 in Skamania County, Washington; eruptions began again in 2004 and are ongoing. You can find this and many other high quality images of the eruptions at www.libraryphoto.cr.usgs.gov.
